My Kind Of Winter

We took advantage of last weekend's freakishly warm weather and made a trip to Mammoth Springs and Grand Gulf in Missouri. It was nice to shed a couple layers and spend the day exploring. And Tobias never turns down the chance to run around a new place, meet new people, and try his darndest to get filthy.

Geoffrey and I spent the majority of our first two years of dating going on small trips like this. We had less money and responsibility and more time. I want to take more little trips this year, and try to hit up all the local gems before we move. National parks and neat landmarks are the perfect solution for day trips on a budget, and right now is the perfect time with the low gas prices. What do you do to have fun on a budget? Know of any good resources for finding places to visit?

  1. I have a friend who lives in the area and is really into outdoor adventures! I'll ask her if she knows of any neat places to visit! Also, I have a real thing for ivy. I want a house COVERED in it. You look adorable. I love your look here! I need more cardigans in my life.

On the note of the pups pictured:
Tobias is SO cute! Like, he's always so happy!
That adorable Yorkie has a pony tail. What?!

    1. Thank you! I'm obsessed with ivy, it's so magical.
Tobias is happy 98% of the time, and happiest when he's out and about, being a crazy man haha.
