review|milk makeup

I was originally going to buy the Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer and a Lip + Cheek, but Sephora has a nifty little travel variety set for the holidays, so I figured I'd give multiple products a go before purchasing full size.
The Holographic Stick in Mars. I wasn't really freaking out about the holographic and rainbow makeup trend, but this color is much more wearable. It's not intense by any means, so if you go for a more natural highlight but want something a little different, this is a great option.

Highlighter Stick in Lit. This is another subtle highlight with a natural glow. I love how both highlighters seamlessly blend into the skin.
The Cooling Water Stick. I'm still not sure if this is just a big gimmick, but it feels really nice on the skin. I have redness and perpetual dark circles now, so I'm going to keep using this to see if I get results.

The Blur Stick. This is a great primer. I'm currently doing the no-foundation look, and I put this on under a dewey primer, and it blurs my pores and makes my t-zone look great. It creates a great base, and doesn't move other stuff around as far as I can tell. It may have a different outcome under foundation.

The Matte Bronzer in Baked. I was anxious to try this, since it was the one I was most interested in purchasing, and I've been needing a good cream contour. It looks a bit dark, but it's super creamy and blend-able, so it can be subtle or intense. It is a bit warm toned, which is my skin type, but if you use cooler toned contours it may or may not work for you.

The Glitter Stick in Techno. This was the one product that I had little to no interest in. It seems like something that you could wear to a party or festival on the cheeks, but it's not the most wearable on a day-to-day basis. It could possibly be used for eyeshadow I guess..

Eye Vinyl in Bridge. I knew that I had seen a product that gave you a glossy eye, but I thought it was the Face Gloss. I'm glad I looked into the products a little more, because this was it.
I was really impressed with this product. It's a little scary to put on for the first time, because I didn't want to spread it too far, but the application was easy. It looks really interesting for being such a simple step, and it stayed on all day without being heavy or sticky. This is definitely a new favorite.

Brows: ABH Dipbrow
Face: Cooling Stick, Blur Stick, Becca Backlight Primer
Concealer: Tarte Shape Tape
Contour: Matte Bronzer Stick
Highlight: Holographic Stick in Mars

I put together a "Mars" inspired look, because I really wanted to try out the holographic highlighter. You can't see the highlighter much in these, but it's a gorgeous subtle sheen that gives a pretty flash of peach and gold when you turn your face. I also really like the face products, and even though hormones are wreaking havoc on it, these products really helped me achieve a look without foundation that I was happy with.
Milk Makeup is very "Your skin, but better", and I love that. At the end of the day, which is also when I took these pictures, my skin still looked luminous and healthy. Since my skin is dry now, powdery makeup can look cake-y, and this makeup made it look great. The highlighter did fade a little quicker than everything else, but I also didn't put very much on, and apparently it can be built up really easily. I'm definitely going to use these all the time, and will have to move to full size of my favorites when the time comes.
